When someone mentions the word “Lifestyle” each person has their own unique interpretation. Some would say healthy and others creative. Perhaps a personal passion is what drives each of us to define our lifestyle.
We recently attended the Abilities Expo in Los Angeles. The photo to the right is of Dawn Nieto, Vice President of Operations and a dear friend of hers, Steve Goldman who is also in the rehab technology field. Nothing quite says lifestyle like a gleaming, chrome accessorized motorcycle. We viewed and visited with many fine people over the weekend and learned about the latest in assistive technology, fitness gear, travel services, daily living aids plus much more.

Unbeaten“Unbeaten”, the second film from award-wining documentary filmaker Steve C. Barber, is an inspirational story that chronicles the exploits of 31 paraplegics for six days, as they make their way in wheelchairs and hand cycles in what is known as the toughest road race in the world, “Saddler’s Alaska Challenge.” The course winds 267 miles through mountain passes of Denali National Park between Fairbanks and Anchorage.
