The Large Rifton Corner Chair is the perfect seating and positioning tool for including school age children with special needs in floor activities with their peers at home and school.
Designed for children with physical disabilities, the Rifton Corner Chair has also shown to help calm and organize children with Autism and attention difficulties, helping them participate in classroom activities for longer periods.
The Rifton Corner Chair securely positions a child in sitting that cannot sit unsupported. The comfortably padded, curved backrest supports the shoulders and head. The Rifton Corner Chair positions the child in “long sitting”, helping to strengthen the trunk and neck muscles that are essential for independent upright sitting.
The Large Rifton Corner Chair is recommended for children with special needs that have a sitting height under 26” (65 cm).
