United Seating & Mobility Reaches Agreement to Acquire Advacare Mobility Seating

We are excited to announce that we have finazlized a transaction with Advacare Mobility & Seating to acquire it's mobility business located in suburban Kansas City; with additional locations being acquired in Topeka and Wichita, KS. "The addition of the Advacare's rehab team and it's strategic locations allow us to grow in a sustainable way within one of our core markets. We are very excited to welcome the outstanding rehab staff to the USM team and look forward to the opportunities this expansion brings," said Bob Gouy, President and Chief Executive Officer of USM.

Mr. Gouy added, "We have had a long term association with Advacare and I have personally known Jerry Stevens, it's President and Founder, for over 20 years. I am very pleased that Jerry has also decided to join our team as a Director with responsibility for acquisition integration. We are confident that this agreement will allow us to continue to find ways of delivering improved services to our mutual clients in a challenging healthcare environment."
